What you'll do
Are you ready to fly, apparate, and travel by Floo Powder to Edinburgh's top Harry Potter sights? Then this tour is not to be missed. Our squib guide (given permission to lift the veil of secrecy for just one day) will show you Edinburgh's must-see landmarks and key locations from the Harry Potter book and film series. What are you waiting for? Potterheads assemble!
Step through the brick wall and feel the magic of Harry Potter's Edinburgh. This tour will take you on J.K. Rowling's journey from single mother to acclaimed author, from "the birthplace of Harry Potter" to Rowling's golden hand prints and venues housing Harry potter exhibitions. With us you will see first-hand the locations that inspired places and scenes from the books and films, including Knockturn & Diagon Alley, the Dark Lord's grave, the Dementor's Underpass, and Hogwarts itself. We may evens top off at a couple of Harry Potter shops!
There will be trivia rounds to keep you on your toes and truly test your knowledge of the Harry Potter world. An experience not to be missed for true Potter fans. We look forward to transporting you to the wizarding world.
This tour has been modified to keep you safe during COVID-19. Expect the same magical tour, but with smaller group sizes, social distancing, face coverings and (more) crowd-free stops.
Other things to note
This tour will involve up to 90 minutes of walking. Please wear suitable shoes and come prepared for the weather.

Hiya! We're Amy, John, Sarah, Caroline, Kate, Thomas, Rachel, and Rachel.
We are a collective of Edinburgh creatives who are totally nuts about Harry Potter. We absolutely love meeting new people from around the world, showing them all the amazing things Edinburgh has to offer, and chatting about all things Harry Potter. So if you're looking for a bubbly guide to give tell you about the history of Edinburgh and show the key sights from the Harry Potter franchise, then we're your muggles!
Amy is Creative Producer at Child.org. She organises these awesome Harry Potter tours to fund the charity's projects in Kenya and Sierra Leone, so we are really excited that you want to apparate (we wish) to Edinburgh's best Harry Potter sights with us.

Absolutely, truly amazing. This tour is absolutely brilliant and super value. The enthusiasm and knowledge that the tour guides have is incredible. Their passion fully shines through for not just Harry Potter but the history of Edinburgh. We throughly enjoyed this tour. It was fun, not challenging in anyway and the guide was so relaxed and welcoming. We book again in a heart beat. Definitely worth doing even if your not a Harry Potter fan. There is something in this tour for everyone. The work and money they are raising for the charity as well is so selfless. Amazing, great work guys x
