What you'll do

We will meet up at 9:30am at Absolute Bagels on the Upper West Side, known for making the best traditional bagels NYC has to offer. Once everyone has arrived, we will introduce ourselves - keep in mind, that this is a 420-friendly tour, so vapes, pens, and organic hemp wrapped blunts are welcome (no tobacco wraps, please.) Once we have our bagels, we will head over to Central Park to check out the Harlem Meer and the Conservatory Garden. Then, we will board the subway and head down to the Meat Packing District, where we will go to the Chelsea Market. After we've explored, we'll visit the Samsung Experience for a taste of immersive virtual reality and fun interactive technology. From there, we'll walk the High Line, a beautiful elevated park built from the ruins of a train track, now saturated with flora and art installations. This walk will bring us to the Hudson Yards, home of the Vessel - an otherworldly, climbable art installation perfect for photo opportunities. We will end the tour in Mercado Little Spain, an authentic Spanish market and eatery featuring the delicious diversity of foods and drinks from all corners of one of the richest culinary countries in the world.

I am a true New Yorker, born and raised, with a background working in music and entertainment. For the last three years, I've been unofficially hosting this tour of my favorite spots throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, simply because I love the experience of meeting new people and introducing them to the things I enjoy. I am a gourmet chef as a hobby, with a special love for breakfast food, and know all the best locations for a delicious and satisfying NYC breakfast. In addition, I am a cannabis connoisseur, and a lover of visual art and tattoos.

Max is an amazing tour guide and his love for the city really shows ... and he makes it contagious! Seeing New York with him to lead the way made things super easy and fun. There’s so much to see and do but having an expert local to show you places you’d never know about made the experience priceless. Honestly, we felt like we made a friend to surely keep in touch with and hope to be back soon. Thank you so much Max!

Max is a very personable guide and made us feel comfortable immediately. He has lived in NYC for most of his life, knows the city very well, and you feel his love for the city. Max's dialog flows easily thoroughout the tour, and it never felt canned or prescripted. He has much to share about NYC, and will provide recommendations for music venues, restaurants, and other activities. We enjoyed our tour with Max and would recommend this experience!

Max and Alia were great. You can tell they really love to do this and were super courteous. We got to see a whole lot of NYC in a short amount of time. Places I think the typical toursit may not know or think to go. The tour was really comfortable and Max offered some really helpful tips along the way. The bagel place we met at was also incredible. They are more than willing to be helpful and are really great sources of info on NYC. Feel free to ask them anything about NYC, they are more than willing to offer their tips, tricks and advice. The value is really great considering everything.
