What you'll do
I will take you to visit four artist and creative studios hidden in various places in the area known as the Sewoon Plaza, Euljiro, Cheonggyecheon. You'll explore various fields, such as architecture, design, and art, and you'll be able to participate in small workshops and see the creator's activity closely. This experience will also provide you with the history and knowledge of this creative urban project and cultural center in Seoul. Our visit will include the following: The Sewoon Basement—a multipurpose exhibition hall also used by several architects, where you'll be able to see local research and architectural creations; Slow Slow Quick Quick—a creative studio where you'll see how artists work and connect to this local environment and view their works of art and creative ideas based on this place; Prag Studio is a design studio where you'll participate in a workshop using electricity products and make a small object with light coming in; and Zak Eun Mul—a spot used as an artist studio, exhibition space, and cafe. We'll drink tea and talk with artists and creators who work between their interesting activities and everyday life.
I am an artist. Since 2013, I have been organizing festivals, exhibitions, performances, and several events in Seoul with friends in the area called Sewoon Plaza, Euljiro, Cheonggyecheon. I would like to introduce you to this area and to several artists and creators in their studios here. The Contemporary Art Network Foundation—CAN is an art center that has supported artists and contemporary artwork for a long time. I am one of these artists and we have been preparing for this type of experience for a long time.
