What you'll do
My Grandfather is a coffee and vegetation farmer who eats only what he plants ranging from various ground provisions to fruits of all kinds. I think guests will love the idea of visiting a family coffee farm in the Blue Mountains, while getting the opportunity to sample the coffee and other fruits then relax by the beautiful river. I will also provide them with educational facts about the surroundings. Upon arrival, we will gather at the riverside at a comfortable spot where we will enjoy freshly made 100% Blue Mountain Coffee, fried ripe plantain with sugar crust and crackers also a bottle water just to warm up for the experience. After which we will dive into the experience where guests will walk throughout the farm filled with coffee plants and fruit trees, being able to touch and feel while being educated about the entire growing, grooming and harvesting process of Jamaica’s #1 coffee. The experience will end at a romantic heart shaped waterfall. As we head back, there is a small community called “Red Light”. Here we will greet and meet vendors and other friendly community members who also knows rich content about the environment
I am passionate about nature and farming. At a young age my father, older brothers, cousins and friends were nature driven individuals, who taught me to be adventurous. I was thought how to catch a fish, hunt for birds, hike, farm and other adventurous activities that I am really excited to teach guests about Jamaica. In addition, I am highly trained in the customer service and tourism possessing a certificate from Tourism Product Development Company.
