About your host

Born in Florence, i moved to the Tuscan countryside a few years ago, in order to be closer to where the best Chianti wines are made. I have had a passion for Italian wine, gastronomy and history from a young age. My first job was in a Florence wine bar and i later became a certified sommelier. Now i work as a wine consultant for a few small farmers and i organise wine "adventures" in my free time.

What we’ll do

We will meet in front of the Montelupo train station. From there i will take you to my friend's 300-year-old winery farmhouse. You will see enjoy the rolling hillside of the Chianti region, passing by vineyards and olive groves. Once we arrive, we will start tasting local Chiantis and wines from other major wine regions of Italy—accompanied by cheeses and other snacks. I will teach you everything…

What else you should know

Let me know if you are vegetarian or have any dietary restrictions. Vegans and celiacs will have a more restricted menu. Return time may vary depending on traffic and how relaxed everyone gets.

What I’ll provide

Snacks and Other
Traditional Tuscan lunch. Local snacks I will prepare a countryside style 3 course meal for you, consisting of traditional dishes.. This will depend on what we have available on the farm and what is in season, like cheeses, vegetables or prosciuttos.
Drinks
Wine tasting You will get to taste several wines including a Chianti, a Tuscan Red and other wines that i gather from all over Italy.
