What you'll do
Near the Seine lies the dynamic and historic district of Le Marais, which offers the ultimate in Parisian charm. It's one of the oldest and best-preserved districts in Paris, yet is still very lively with its dynamic art and creative scenes. It has an abundance of quiet alleys, hidden gardens, and unexpected mansions that survived the radical reconstruction phase of the 19th century. In Le Marais, the past is always highly intertwined with the present through its rich and surprising architecture. We'll start by having a nice French breakfast in a traditional bakery while discussing the city's history. Afterward, we'll go for a walk to some of the district's secrets and highlights. I'll introduce you to the mystery and the beauty of Paris with plenty of anecdotes and surprises. The group is intentionally kept small for a more personal and intimate experience. I'll give you plenty of tips and adapt to your personal expectations. If you are looking for a unique perspective of Paris, look no further.
Bonjour. I'm an art historian who is currently teaching at university while pursuing my PhD. During my studies, I have acquired a profound knowledge of Parisian art and architectural styles, spanning from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance to the modern age. I look forward to sharing it with you. I also love photography and enjoy walking around with my camera. I know all the best spots to make nice "clichés" of Paris.
Traditional breakfast Coffee or chocolate and a croissant.
