What you'll do
We start the tour with a sampling of fresh local produce fom the fruit and vegetable merchant inside the medieval fountain at the entrance to the village.* We continue up the hill to a local caviste for a wine tasting, then to a superb local restaurant for a chat with the chef and visit to the kitchen as they prepare their plat du jour. We'll then head to the fromagerie for a tasting of local cheeses and charcuterie, including passionate conversation with the shop owners about France's most beloved export. Afterward we'll stop by the finest gelato shop in the village for a hands-on lesson on the proper tasting of Italian ice cream! We end our visit with a glass of champagne in the bar at the famed hotel and restaurant La Colombe d'Or. *Wednesday tours include a visit to the weekly open air market

Where you'll be
We start at an open air produce merchant to taste local fresh fruits & vegetables, then we head to the fromagerie to sample regional cheese and charcuterie, followed by a private tasting in a cozy wine cellar. We'll stop by to see a local chef at work in the kitchen, and visit the best gelato artisan St. Paul. We end with a glass of champagne at the famed hotel La Colombe d'Or. On Wednesdays we visit the weekly marché for regional specialities.
