What you'll do

Are you looking for a fun hands-on farm experience? We invite you to take a tour with us on our 15-acre Amish farm property. During your hour visit, you will feed and meet all our animals. Cuddle with our baby goats, collect eggs, and even help us brush our donkeys. Our animals are so friendly that our alpacas, horses, and cows will eat right from your hand! During the walking tour your tour guide will teach you about animals and what life is like on a farm. You’ll even get to see our goats climb and cross a 12-foot-high goat bridge (it's as impressive as it sounds).

During your visit, you will also learn about the farm’s important history. Our farm was deeded from William Penn himself and lived on by generations of Amish families. Once this tour is finished, you will know so much about our animals and appreciate the Amish community of Lancaster. After your tour, the farm property is yours to explore for the day. Visit our Amish one-room school, artisans, and ride on an Amish scooter.

Step away from all the hustle and bustle of the 21st century, come enjoy a digital detox on our farm!

Meet your host, Jamie

I love everything baby animals! Who doesn't? Working on this farm for the past five years has given me the opportunity to snuggle with so many baby goats, lambs, calves, and chicks. Typically, I spend time in the office answering emails and posting on social media but the highlight of my job is giving farm tours. I enjoy sharing the farm with others, especially when guests get brave enough to feed animals from their hands. It's always a fun time. I've lived in Amish Country my whole life and love sharing my hometown with others.

Where you'll be

This tour takes place on a historical farm property. The 15-acre farm was deeded from William Penn to Governor John Evans in the 1700s. It has been lived in and farmed by generations of Amish, Quaker, and Mennonite families. Now it is an educational farm museum where guests can learn about the Amish community and life on the farm. Our property has historical barns, a hand-dug well, limekiln, and other important features for guests to view.
