What you'll do

We will go hiking together in the Peak District! This will be tailor made to suit the group, which can be from 1 person to 6, so, it might be a 3 hour hike along the Great Ridge, a 2 hour walk along a river, or a linear walk between train stations. Just let us know what you'd like to do and we'll make your day unforgettable. There are so many beautiful walks in the Peak District, the majority of the hikes are easy to medium as we never get up so high.
We will meet at Manchester Piccadilly train station at 10.30 where will will buy the train tickets needed. Then we will take the train together to the Hope Valley which is a beautiful journey!
Popular places to start our hike include Edale, Hope, Hathersage or Grindleford. Please note that train tickets are not included in the price (typically £12.50 return).
We will then hike around the area, have a picnic, then get back in time for the 4pm train back to Piccadilly (arrives back at 4.45), or you can stay on and have a meal and a well deserved relax.
I have extensive knowledge of the area and am a trained Ramblers walk leader with first aid training. I have led a large number of groups over the years and am also an Airbnb host.
I'd like to share the beauty of the Peak District with you so you leave with fond memories, all the tours available do not include this personalised service and only visit places over-run by tourists.

I started leading small groups around the Peak District 4 years ago and realized there are so many people who would love to explore it but they don't know where to start! We also have many visitors to Manchester who are travelling without a car but don't want to book a coach tour where you only visit shops and see the nature through the window.
I was born in Manchester, then left, firstly to study, then to work abroad. When I came back I was told about all this beauty on my doorstep but didn't know where to start. I got on a train to Edale and visited the Peak District office, bought a walking leaflet and self-guided myself through all 8 walks.....then I learnt to read a map and started to take my friends out and about, then other walking groups.
I am an EFL teacher/examiner and am used to forging connections with international people!
