What you'll do

The Lycian Way is a 540 km, 29-day way-marked footpath around the coast of Lycia in southern Turkey, from Fethiye to Antalya.
It is also one of the world’s great long-distance hiking trails, in top-10 lists for its unique combination of Mediterranean views, mountainous hinterland, Turkish culture and ancient ruins.
I offer you the chance to discover one of the most scenic tracks of the Lycian Way with this daily walk.
Also a pleasant lunch at a village house with traditional pancakes, ayran and various fresh vegetables and fruits, which are also indispensable for Turkish nomad culture.
Tea brewed in wood fire is also a traditional treat of Turkish culture.
-We are meeting near the bus station to take the public bus to our starting point Ovacik Village.
-We reach our starting point with a 25-minute bus ride.
-After taking photos on the sign, which is the symbolic starting point of the Lycian Way, we start walking.
-Shortly after the start of the walk, we meet with the iconic Ölüdeniz and Blue Lagoon view that will accompany us throughout the walk.
-A 2-hour climb(6km) will take us to the village where we will have lunch.
-After lunch, we will reach Faralya, the end point of our walk, by walking 2.5 km on asphalt and 5 km on pathway.
-We will get on the minibus that will take us to Fethiye, end our day at the point we started and say goodbye to each other with good memories.
