Glasnevin Cemetery Museum aims to promote the heritage, architecture and culture the cemetery to local and international audiences, and to support the vision of Dublin Cemeteries Committee (Glasnevin Trust) in preserving the heritage of past generations, serving the needs of the present generation and providing a legacy for future generations.

The first part of your Experience is the guided tour, where you will visit the graves of Ireland’s heroes and learn the life stories of iconic figures such as Daniel O'Connell, Michael Collins, Countess Markievicz, Éamon de Valera, Jim Larkin and many more. Where you'll be

You'll tour part of the 124 acres of our Victorian Garden Cemetery; as well as learning about Ireland's heroes, you can explore the Celtic crosses and the yew trees. Also included in your Experience is free entry into the City of the Dead Exhibition in our museum, €5 worth of genealogy credits and a 10% discount in the Tower Cafe, which is located on-site.
