What you'll do
Street Photography can be a lot of fun alone, but it is much better when you are with fellow photography enthusiasts. Whether you are a beginner with a phone or a pro with a hefty camera, you are more than welcome to the tour. We will kick off the day with coffee in the centre where we will have a chat about our interests and preferred styles in street photography. This will give me an idea about the best route option for the group. At this point, we will start the walk across different spots of Budapest which may vary based on weather and lighting conditions or special events to bring the most out of the city. Look out for starting times. I will be leading a day and a night tour as well) During the tour, we will be talking about different styles of street photography and I will give you an insight into my approach to finding subjects, composing shots and exposing right as well as talking about my technique to street portraiture and talking to people. I will also show some tricks to give you other tools for special effects to achieve emotion in your frames. My aim is to give you the tools that you will need to further enhance your unique vision!
I have always been a big fan of travelling but it was only when I explored street photography that I realised how unique of an experience discovering a new city through my lense can be. I was born and raised in Budapest, later completing a degree in Film Production in the UK. My main interests are cinematography and street photography, so my life has pretty much been taken over by my love for the visual arts. Feel free to find me on Instagram at @marcellesque to see my work and if you like it, I would love to go on a photowalk with you!
Coffee/Tea at Keksz Cafe

Where you'll be
Street photography is all about public spaces. We will start in the centre of Budapest, walk through the Jewish quarter all the way to Fővám Tér to check out the scenery with the Danube and Gellért Hill. We will move onto Metro Line 4. After a little detour into the somewhat socialist metro line 3 at Kálvin Tér, we will check out an authentic market at Rákóczi Tér. After that we will walk back to our starting point, where the tour will end.
