What you'll do
We'll visit my favorite crested saguaro, see lots natural beauty and hopefully some wildlife, such as deer, bunnies and roadrunners. This is a moderate 3.2-mile hike that will take about 2 hours depending on the pace and allotting time to take share-worthy photos. Please be aware that parts of the trail are rocky and/or hilly. If you aren't steady on your feet and in decent shape, this hike isn't for you. Also, since parts of the trail are narrow, there are areas where the prickly cacti are in close proximity.
I love hiking in the Tucson Mountains and want to share the beauty of the area, especially with people who aren't familiar with the Sonoran Desert. I'm a big fan of crested saguaros and will help educate my guests about them and the other cacti and critters in the desert, all while enjoying each other's company. I'll share recommendations for dining, shopping, and exploring around town, too.

Where you'll be
We'll enjoy a beautiful hike and see an enormous crested saguaro that can easily be overlooked even by those who use the trails often. Along the way, please feel free to ask me for recommendations about local dining, sightseeing, culture, arts and more. I know Tucson well and especially love to share off-the-beaten-path spots.
