What you'll do

Enjoy springtime in Kingston!

Start your day as the sun rises by completing a walking tour around downtown Kingston. At the beginning of your tour, you'll get a hot cup of tea to sip on as we sightsee. My signature tea blend features local ingredients from the area blended with tea from around the world!

Our walking tour will start in the downtown area so you can get familiar with all that Kingston has to offer. We will walk along the water, down side streets that have homes built in 1835 and throughout the downtown core. We will take short breaks for photos along the route, as well as stop at various landmarks to learn more about their importance. I’ll go over local folklore, stories, history and important people of Kingston.

This tour is a great way to kick off your stay in Kingston, so you can get familiar with the city layout and streets. Learn all about our unique history, geography, and architecture! By the end of the tour you'll know where the best cafes, restaurants and hot spots of Kingston are to visit after your tour!
Other things to note
Our tour will take place outdoors, so please wear comfortable shoes and warm clothes.

Hi! My name is Erica and I am one of 231 Tea Sommeliers across Canada. A tea sommelier is an expert on tea, and I can’t wait to share my knowledge with you. Before I started to train my palette and study tea, I was a tour guide for Canada’s most popular tourist destinations: Niagara Falls and Ottawa.

What does touring a destination and tasting tea have in common? Both experiences tell the unique story of geography, climate, people and places. Not only am I your guide for Kingston and tea, I will be your storyteller.

Where you'll be

Welcome to Kingston, Ontario! Our tour will take us along the water giving us panoramic views of Wolfe Island, Fort Henry and downtown Kingston. Bask in the smell of freshly baked bread as we explore the downtown alleyways . One is known for being haunted, the other is home to a local artist collective. We will visit Kingston’s last gas lamp, City Hall, Engine 1095, several National Heritage Sites and the Martello Towers.

Erica was very personable and knowledgeable about the kingston area. We enjoyed our walk with her and followed up on a few of her recommendations for further sightseeing. Recommend her tour as a good start to a visit of beautiful Kingston!
