What you'll do

Our half day tours are a fun and enjoyable way to take in the best Bath has over a pleasant 20km moderate cycle route . Our groups are a maximum of 6-8 riders ensuring a more personal experience. Starting in the city we will join and cycle along the scenic Kennet and Avon canal experiencing its history and wildlife at various stops including the famous Dundas Aqueduct. From Dundas we'll join the Somerset Coal Canal before cycling up the Midford valley through Monkton Combe past the old Friary and onto the Somerset and Dorset converted railway path stopping at amazing sites such as Midford Castle for a photo and chat about its history. Returning to Bath, we will journey through history along the converted Victorian railway tunnel (Two Tunnels Path), the longest cycling tunnel in Britain at just over a mile in length. The interactive light and sound installation in the tunnels provide a real ‘wow’ factor before you emerge overlooking the city, followed by a pleasant roll downhill to the cycle path along the River Avon back into the city where you'll see nesting Peregrine Falcons (the worlds fastest animal!), Pulteney Weir and bridge before returning to the start via Bath Rugby Club, the stunning Georgian Great Pulteney street and historic Sydney Gardens.
