What you'll do

I really hope to receive lot a wine lovers which want to have an unique wine and olive oil experience. Welcome drink at the arrival, guided visit of the middle age cellar, in the garden followed by a walk in the vineyards and in the olive groves and finally rich wine tasting and nice home made food served in a charming place that you will love it. According with the season you can be part of the works in the vineyards or in in the cellar. The time we suggest are; all the month of may, when there are the small clusters, September during the grape harvest, March, when we prune the vines and we press the dried grapes for the dessert wine Vin Santo, November when we pick the olives and we crush them. On summer you can do wonderful hike in the vineyards and maybe you can help to bottle the wine. Few days of the year it could be possible to do also a wine tasting from the barrels with our master of wine who will explain the secrets of the winemaking, ask in advance for it. If you love balsamic vinegar, we will introduce in its history and you will try vinegar with different ageing. You will also discover the incredible flavours of the white truffle infused in our extra virgin. If you want to have a bottle with your personalized label, let me know 12 hours in advance your name and surname and I will prepare the private label; you will choose the wine here. Me and my family wait you !

Where you'll be

You will visit the hystorical cellar of the middle age, where we keep our more prestigious wines. In september and october you can be part of the grape harvest and you can see the pressing of the grapes. In november you could enter in the olive mills to see how is produced the extra virgin of high quality. At the end of winter you could be present at the crushing of the raisins that we use for the production of our amazing dessert wine.

I had never been to a wine tasting before, and I think Simone's winery was the perfect place to start! The wines and olive oil we tasted were amazing and will linger in our memory for a long time. Simone is also an exceptional host, staying up until very late to answer my questions the NIGHT BEFORE the trip (both sorry and thankful for this). If anyone is considering the experience, you won't regret it. Go go!

Amazing experience with even more amazing hosts. Their generosity and friendly manner made this already ideal location that bit better. Simone arranged a private car to and from the location for myself and 4 guests, which was so helpful. Thank you so much for this amazing memory!!

Thank you Simone for the best experience ever! My boyfriend and I could not have been happier with the experience. For lunch we had a table to ourself which felt truly romantic and intimate in the midst of a tour group. All of the food was excellent and Simone and his wife went above and beyond with everything. The quality of the wine was absolutely superb. I cannot wait to one day come back and bring my entire family to enjoy this experience. If you are thinking about doing this tour, do not think twice! It’s a must!!!! Thank you Simone also for being so accommodating with the transportation.

What an experience! The tour started with Simone giving us a thorough explanation of what wines we’d be trying later, the differences between them and the history of the Chianti Classico region and how it became such an important wine area. We also tried their excellent olive oil and heard more about how traditional Balsamico vinegar is made. After that, Simone walked us through the vines and the wine cellar and to the garden where we tasted great red and white wines, served with cheese, bruschetta, crostini and salumeria. The waitresses were fun and friendly, and explained to us what we should eat to harmonize with each wine. The view was incredible! Like in the movies. We had a lot of fun with the other guests from all over the world. Simone and Manuela are lovely people who really know their craft, we loved meeting them and learning about their beautiful work.

Insane location with incredible views. We tasted much more wines than we expected which was really nice and also had a generous amount of bread, cheeses and meats. The service was really good too. Only thing we didn’t expect was the large group of people, but it didn’t bother us that much. Overall a great experience, highly recommend!

What to bring

just a smile and....... Since in the summer there can also be a temperature change of 30 ° C - 50 ° F, between the external temperature and the temperature of the underground cellar, I recommend taking some clothes to cover your shoulders.

IMPORTANT: I would like to remind you that this EXP is not a professional wine class with a sommelier presence. I repeat this because sometimes a guest expects this. For a service of this kind, many more hours are needed ...
