What you'll do

#1 Airbnb Experience in Singapore with 200+ five star reviews!

In this trail, we will discover the diversity of food of the main ethnic groups in Singapore. And while any foodie tour can take you on a hawker trail, we’ll let you in on the secrets behind the best stalls. The group size is intentionally kept intimate (no more than 6) as our food stops are small businesses specially handpicked to reflect artisanal techniques - not the ones typically visited by commercial tours. I don't do this everyday as well as I respect the market and do not want to turn it into a tourist trap. More than tasting, you will also get a full palate education on the herbs & spices that are used in the traditional culinary kitchens of this region.

In between eating stops, we take a breath to explore some terrific street art and walk through atmospheric alleys. This is the ultimate feast for the stomach and eyes!

I'm a chef by training (At-Sunrice Culinary Academy, Le Cordon Bleu) + foodie and licensed local guide. I have hosted supper clubs and worked with Singapore based and foreign Michelin starred chefs. My interest and area of specialty is in incorporating Asian flavors with European culinary techniques.

I'm fascinated with how the history and cuisine of Singapore is tied closely with herbs and spices of the region and want to share this with you.

Where you'll be

We will take a stroll along the streets and back alleys of the ethnic enclave of Little India, where street art abound. Along the way, you will see spices, flower garlands and fortune telling as part of the everyday life.

We will use the local subway to the neighborhood of Chinatown. And through the street art,you will understand the life of the early Chinese settlers while taking in delectable local street food.

I had a wonderful time connecting with PS and learning about the cultural and food history of Little India and Chinatown in Singapore. Such a fun experience and introduced me to hawker stalls and foods that I would have been too intimated to try on my own. Thanks PS!

We loved exploring some hidden gems of Singapore with PS. After having recently moved to singapore, it was the perfect way to discover our new home and fall deeper in love with it. We left SO full from all the yummy food and already cannot wait to return to some of the great spots again soon.

It's great to be shown around by a local. Lots of spots for nice pictures, ample information on history and culture and all our questions answered. Food was truly unique, would not have tried any of what we had on our own. Would book with PS again.

Terrific guide. Very knowledgeable about both food and history/politics. Great way to begin our visit to Singapore and get oriented to the city. Would take another tour with her.

This was a great way to taste local food, experience and understand the culture illustrated by beautiful street art, guided by someone who has personal knowledge and understanding of the area. PM was a perfect host and it felt like visiting a friend in her city. We learned so much and would not have ever had these experiences alone. Would highly recommend.
