What we’ll do

Your experience offers first and exclusive " Makai to Mauka" 45- minute cultural walking tour that takes you along the shores of Waikiki, learning about ancient Hawaii and it's rich history. Along the way you will stop at the fish sanctuary and feed the fish, learning their Hawaiian names (great for kids and adults), the usage of fish ponds in Hawaiian culture and the importance of the ocean…

The Diamond Head Luau takes place every Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, except for the following dates: May 9; June 13, 27; July 11, 25; Aug 8, 9, 23, 30; Sept 5, 12, 19, 26, 27; Dec 2, 8, 9.

What I’ll provide

Beer, Cocktail, Soft drinks, Water and Other
Included is a welcome maitai as well as two drink tickets. All drinks with fruit juice are made with fresh pressed juices with fruits from local farms. Additional maitais as well as both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase along with several specialty drinks.

What to bring

Comfortable shoes for the walking portion of the experience, a light jacket, depending on the time of year and local weather conditions

The Mauka to Makai walking tour with our cultural expert is exclusive to airbnb guests and while the area is a public space, guests will see it as our native ancestors saw it, from the ocean, the fish the land and all of the relevancy to life not so long ago.
