What you'll do
We will experience a traditional Hatha Yoga session all aspects included and with great focus on breathing techniques, what we call Pranayama. The session will consist of: - Initial Pranayama technique to become aware of your body, mind and energy. - Session on simple as well as powerful mantras to understand the connection between Yoga and sounds - Session of Asanas (postures) to tune our body. It is a moderate and effective session in which we will breathe each of the poses understanding their benefits - Pranayama session. First we will make an explanation of what it is, the techniques and how to use them on our daily life. We will practice both energizing and balancing as well as relaxing techniques. - After Pranayama we will enter into meditation, a fluid and different experience from conventional meditations - The last part, the relaxation includes aromatherapy and a small massage All the techniques we will learn come directly from the Masters that I met in Rishikesh, at the foot of the Himalayas, in India. Their teachings are based on the most traditional branches of Yoga, without Western interpretations.
I am a certified Yoga Alliance Teacher specialized in Pranayama, the Art of Breathing. I started doing Yoga 10 years ago trying different schools and traveling to different countries. I was trained in Rishikesh (India), the cradle of Yoga, and I learned in its origin the meaning and the great scope of a science that began 7000 years ago to connect people with themselves and increase their well-being in very diverse ways. It is a continuous learning that I love to share. I help others to take care of their body and balance.
