What we’ll do

We explore a beautiful Samurai town Kamakura, far from the busy big city. We enjoy walking a peaceful neighborhood and visit hidden gems in Kamakura such as Engakuji temple, Zeniarai shrine, and Sasuke Inari shrine. Each has more than 700-year history. What else you should know

Notice: The typhoon in September gave damage to the Sasuke Inari. We can enjoy walking through the red Torii gates path which characterizes the shrine. However, the main building and the territory in the mountain is under the recovery construction work. Kid's rate: For age 6-12, I will refund ¥300.

Where you'll be

Kamakura is a city built in the 12th century by Samurai. We walk from JR Kita-Kamakura station to Kamakura station along the old path, people's residence and visit some temples and shrines. It's not a well-known route, but you will feel the real hidden Kamakura there. We will visit the following; The Engakuji temple, a local Buddhist site, Genji-Yama park, Zeniarai-Benten shrine, and Sasuke Inari Shrine.
