The Louvre reveals a history of more than eight centuries and its continuous transformation was due to the desire of kings, emperors and presidents to leave their mark in such a prestigious place. First of all we will discover the foundations of its origin as a fortress and its metamorphosis into a royal palace during the Renaissance. What to bring

Louvre Ticket. Children under the age of 18 and European Union students under the age of 27 enter free of charge. Buy your ticket on the official louvre website. Choose a precise day and time. Print it or bring it on your phone.

Where you'll be

We will begin with the pyramid of the Louvre and its first construction dating from 1190. Then we will make a chronological journey to understand the evolution of the notion of beauty from Greek antiquity to the great paintings of the nineteenth century.
