What you'll do
Your sheep walking experience will begin with some fascinating and fun facts about sheep before we set off to meet our woolly gang. You will meet our growing flock of over 80 sheep, each one has a name and a story to tell, with some really fun and lovable characters ~ A fabulous photo opportunity. Mister milo loves a selfie, little squirt cannot resist a cuddle. You will meet our handsome herdwicks, our "Sprout" is a real show off. Then we will head off to meet our four gorgeous Valais Blacknose Sheep (a rare breed from Switzerland) Oreo, Casanova (who loves to give kisses), jammie and humbug, are all halter trained and they like to go out for a stroll, We will take a walk around the sanctuary, where you will also meet other residents You'll have plenty of time to bond with your valais - one of the most peaceful, 'soft to the touch' animals you could hope to meet! Don't forget to take as many photos as you like to capture those all important memories. We will finish at our picnic spot where we will enjoy a drink & biscuits

Sharon, the founder of this haven for sheep acquired a 50-acre farm, and transformed it into a plant based sanctuary—a refuge where animals would be protected from neglect, abuse, and slaughter. Which is now a haven to sheep, alpacas, donkeys, cows, pigs, goats, hens. She left a career in fashion& design to devote her life to animal protection and humane education. Set within 50 acres of wildlife and woodland, within the National Parks. A small family run unit of just 3, myself (sharon) daughter aged 12 (storm) and partner (warren). All profits raised go directly to the animals

Where you'll be
Set within 50 acres of the National Parks, a good part of our land is a SSSI protected area that is home to wildlife, flowers and nature. We have a few resident owls and many many different kinds of birds, one being the endangered "Snipe" bird. The cuckoo visits every year and we are home a a few barn owls also. You will see our on site belle tents that can also be booked on air b n b
