What you'll do
You will meet and greet our beautiful Blacknose Valais sheep who just love the attention. The sheep will probably choose who he wants to walk with :0)
We have Casanova (who likes to kiss) Prince jammie who is a real mummy's boy, his brother Humbug, Gogo the boss sheep whose gorgeous and he knows it, shy boy Guinness and new boy Rondo who loves to shout for attention.
We also have 3 very unusual Black, Blacknose Valais, who are to shy to walk on a lead with us yet but who knows what the future holds.
We will take a walk around the grounds where you will see briefly our other residents (if you wish to do a full on sheep hugging tour then we now do a separate experience )
You'll have plenty of time to bond with your valais - one of the most peaceful, 'soft to the touch' animals you could hope to meet!
Don't forget to take as many photos as you like to capture those all important memories.
We will finish the walk with Vegan Tea & Scones in our shepherds hut (mini shop) where we sell handmade products using the wool from our rescued sheep
Making memories to last a lifetime
Other things to note
We are a plant based, meat free site so please respect that. Children are welcome but must be with an adult.

Sharon, the founder of this haven for sheep acquired a 50-acre farm, and transformed it into a plant based sanctuary—a refuge where animals would be protected from neglect, abuse, and slaughter. Which is now a haven to sheep, alpacas, donkeys, cows, pigs, goats, hens. She left a career in fashion& design to devote her life to animal protection and humane education. Set within 50 acres of wildlife and woodland, within the National Parks. A small family run unit of just 3, myself (sharon) daughter aged 12 (storm) and partner (warren). All profits raised go directly to the animals

Thank you for your hospitality and the tea and warm scone at the end was a lovely touch and much needed. ☕👌🤗

Great experience. We walked round the farm with Sharon's Valais Blacknose sheep. They were lovely and very friendly! Super cute and lovely to spend time with!!! A lovely experience. We were also introduced to some other members of the farm (donkeys, cows and a whole host of other sheep). Sharon was very welcoming and friendly. My husband and I had a lovely time! :-)

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The Valais Blacknose sheep are adorable. We were made to feel very welcome and our host Sharon was very passionate and knowledgable about her sanctuary. Each of her sheep and other animals have a name and it is obvious they are all loved. We thoroughly enjoyed the tea and scones with Dick and Dom and three of their companions who were extremely friendly and enjoyed lots of strokes and ear tickles. This was well worth a visit to see all these beautiful animals so well cared for and looked after. If you get the chance I recommend the sheep walking without hesitation.
