What you'll do

Step inside and back in time... into the Victorian era parlor of a 129 year-old home in the historic Old Louisville neighborhood and listen to your dapper host (and an occasional special guest musician or two) perform long-forgotten gems of a bygone era. Enjoy an intimate, nostalgic experience of parlor music as it was performed when it was popular at the turn of the century and throughout the early eras of the home's history. Hear lively performances of selections from the extensive repertoire of classic songs that have been passionately mined from your host's vast 78 rpm record collection. You will also get a glimpse of what it’s like today living in a home well over a century old and see how these beautiful houses can accommodate modern life and style yet still keep the past alive by showcasing many details of their original charm and heritage. After traveling back in time together, you may just find yourself leaving with a pep in your step and whistling a snappy tune!
