What you'll do

We begin our adventure from Quito where we will meet you at 8 a.m. the Ofelia Bus terminal. We will be taking an 8 a.m. bus to Pacto so it will be important to be on time. We will arrive within two hours to the town of Pacto where we will visit the local market to select items for lunch and buy any incidentals you might need. We will then take a 15 minute taxi to our farm. After a brief tour of the farm we will visit our coffee prodcution and explain how to pick coffee from our various types of plants. Then...we will show you how we clean, remove the covering on each bean, ferment, dry and finally roast coffee. We then will have our home cooked lunch (please indicate any special requirements). After lunch we will visit our Cacao plants and learn about the different types of Cacao and how to harvest the Bean. We will then show you how we ferment, roast and finnally make the final chocolate product. We will depart the farm at 3 30 p.m. by taxi to Pacto to take a 4 p.m. bus back to Quito. You should arrive back in Quito Ofelia bus terminal at 6 p.m. and will start learning about coffee. After lunch cacao and waterfalls
