About your host, Candace
Talaysay Tours, owned by Candace and Larry Campo, Shíshálh (Sechelt) and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) First Nation, offer you an enriched cultural outdoor experience. We are cultural ambassadors and will share with you our ancient and contemporary stories, legends and Indigenous ways of living.
What we’ll do
We will share an interpretive walking tour with you in beautiful Stanley Park as you learn and experience how our tribes have utilized the land for food, medicine, and technology. You'll walk through the guided trails, seeing first hand lush trees and diversity of plants while gaining new knowledge of First Nation's perspectives and history.
What I’ll provide
Indigenous Tea 󲀃
made from local plants and berries

Where we’ll be
Your Talaysay Guide will meet you in Stanley Park at the Bus Loop. The Bus Loop is located via Pipelane Rd. More specially, the guide will stand at an Interpretive Map that is beside a Bike Rack. This waiting location is in between the parking lot and bus loop. Your guide will be looking for you but if you see him or her, please introduce yourself. Please provide yourself ample time to arrive and be ready to enjoy a great forest walk.
