What you'll do

*Meet the guide at 14:30 pm at ExitA3 of Tawaramachi station(Tokyo Metro Ginza line) *Walk to Green tea cafe near Kokusai-Dori street and enjoy tea time(30min) Choose your favorite parfait and Toppings! ①Macha(green tea) gelato or Milk gelato ②Macha warabimochi, Chocolate warabimochi or warabimochi with kinako(Soybean) powder *Walk to Kappabashi kitchen street(30-40min) The best place for foodies and people who love cooking! We will go... -Japanese knife shop -Japanese lantern shop -Golden Kappa statue -Chopsticks and pottery shop *The guide will explain about the history and take you popular kitchenware shops for professional Japanese chefs. *Ganso food sample souvenir shop This place was originally established in 1932. What sets this store apart from other sample shops, is that you can make your own life-like, food samples from wax. You will learn why fake foods have become so popular in Japan. *Making Food sample experience(1hour) Ganso Sample store offers 60-75 mins classes on how to make food samples. In this workshop, You will make wax tempura and lettuce. You can't tell which one is fake because it's too real! *End of the tour

Where you'll be

It takes a really long time to become a Japanese chef, but you can be a wax tempura chef in Asakusa! You can enjoy making food samples the old fashion way with wax at Ganso Sample in Kappabashi, Tokyo. You will also enjoy the best green tea gelato with mochi for tea time sweets!
