Denise

I am Denise Bustamante. I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I love coffee, art, philosophy and travelling. While I have a degree in Political Sciences and International Relations, around 5 years ago I started working in the coffee business. I specialize in the processing, quality control and also promotion of coffee. I am a Double Q Grader, which means I am an international certified cupper for Arabica and Robusta coffee, licensed by the Coffee Quality Institute. I actively participate in nationwide Coffee events such as the National Barista Championship, Best Robusta Coffee, Aeropress Championhip, Best Loja Coffee. In addition to the above, I also work for the Department of Coffee Analysis of our family business; a company that trades and exports coffee. As a part of our work, we have developed a value-added coffee product: Café Legrand: An Ecuadorian Roasted and Fine Grind Robusta coffee brand.
