About your host

From his first sip of Chimay Red, Jon was intrigued by the country of Belgium. So, in September of 2003, he went to Brussels, Belgium, and after visiting a fry shack on a gorgeous late summer afternoon, it was there, sitting on a park bench, eating frites out of a paper cone, that his love with Belgian food and culture blossomed. What we’ll do

After greeting the guests, Jon will give a brief description and history of Belgian food and beer. Jon will then walk guests through a hands-on experience of the steps that go into preparing french fries. Guests will also be shown how to properly prepare Moules (mussels) to accompany their fries. Once the fries are ready to serve, guests can get as creative as they want and use all of our sauces…

This is a cooking class and informational session that will last about 90 minutes. You will be eating a full meal so please bring your appetite :)
