What you'll do
We will begin with an herbal energy cleansing ceremony to rid us of any heavy energy and aid in setting an intention. Following I will guide you though 10 minutes of slow movements to bring awareness into the body and to ground our energy. Next, you will relax and set yourself in a comfortable position whether it be laying down on a yoga mat, a blanket, or sitting down on a cushion or mat. I will then guide the group through a 35 minute shamanic meditation journey using sacred sounds using different instruments like guajes, ocarina, rainstick, shamanic drum, Tibetan singing bowls among others. After the journey we rest for 5 minutes in silent meditation and end the experience with 5 minutes of slow walking meditation to ground the sound medicine energy into our beings.
I am the founder of NEMI a company focused on reconnecting us to our humanity by providing wellness services to my community. After studying Business Management, Anthropology and Ethics Policy and Justice at California State University, Chico it was evident to me that the biggest human problem we deal with as a society today is excessive stress. In 2013 I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and have spent the last 6 years learning different methods to manage my symptoms holistically traveling extensively to learn from many different healers, especially from central Mexico.
