What you'll do

We will begin with introductions, and find out a bit about each persons dietary needs. This will help guide the information I am able to provide. From there we will start by looking at a recipe, and talk about things we could do to improve the health value of the recipe. Next we will all get involved in creating the meal, with me providing cooking advice to novice home cooks.

Michelle

I am a Accredited Practicing Dietitian who loves to teach people ways to create meals that will give them the tools to have a healthier diet. I have developed ways to make simple changes to recipes that will increase the nutritional value of your meal.

What's included

Food
I will provide the food to prepare the meal. This will be based as much as possible on food preferences provided by guests.

Where you'll be

The experience mostly take place in my kitchen. We overlook beautiful bushland, and if the weather is agreeable, we will do some of our class on the deck overlooking the bush.

Dietary preferences

If requested, the host can accommodate the dietary needs listed. You must let the host know before the experience if you’d like an accommodation.

Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 6 guests ages 10 and up can attend. Parents may also bring children under 2 years of age. It’s up to each guest to understand the ingredients being used and communicate any allergies or dietary restrictions to the host. Guests should also…

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

This is not a class about chef level cooking. It is more about learning how to make enjoyable, home cooked meals more healthy.
