What you'll do

Journey from seed to fork as we travel into So Cal cuisine, tasted through the magical ingredients that have taken root over centuries. Enter our doors & plunge into an immersive marketplace. Our Liquid Chef, Matt is swirling drinks in the corner, concocted from herbs he's foraged in our urban gardens! Wine is flowing like water from a spigot. Our food whisperer Michelle is whipping up Tehachapi ravioli, like grandma used to make. Farmer Ben & I are sitting in the garden, waiting to serve you a dinner that sparks conversation & satisfies your appetite for a culinary adventure. By empowering you to bring these techniques back to your own kitchen & community. We'll share the power of buying local, growing your own, preparing food & preserving it day by day. Welcome to Better Days!

What's included

Nicole

An advocate for environmental & human health, I am the Co-Founder of Community Healing Gardens. My mission is to guide the next gen into meaningful action. We build urban gardens in underserved areas such as Watts. We're growing a one-acre working farm at Edwin Markham Middle School, smack in the middle of a notorious food desert. I am also a foodie at heart & want to share that with you!

About the organisation

Community Healing Gardens

Community Healing Gardens' mission is to foster community through urban gardening. CHG launched in Venice Summer 2015, currently building garden boxes in Venice as well as a one-acre working farm next to a middle school in Watts, a notorious food desert. All things grow with love.

This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Community Healing Gardens.
