What you'll do

**If you want to go on a day that isn't scheduled on the calendar, PLEASE send me a message!** As we hop from rock to rock, we will discover a whole galaxy of tiny worlds contained by kelp covered rocks. These marine microcosms bustle with life that lies in wait for the next incoming tide... This unique excursion is a real-life treasure hunt: you never know what you might find... Sea stars and abalone, anemones and oyster-catchers, sea urchins and nudibranchs, the list goes on! Cypress will help you learn about some of the most amazing and iconic marine life in California! We will spend about 90 minutes exploring the different intertidal zones and beaches of Point Pinos. Our small group will get the chance to observe cool creatures, explore hidden caverns in the rocks, and learn about the history of conservation and business in Monterey. This tour is a great way to get to know the flora and fauna of the California Coast, as well as learn about natural history from a knowledgeable and passionate host! This experience is great for families with young children, people who are landlubbers, or anyone interested in the life and beauty of Monterey's world-class coastline!
