I am a wildcraft guide and chef that has been teaching people about how to safely ID and cook wild edible plants and mushrooms for 7 years. My favourite thing to hunt for is matsutake mushrooms that smell like cinnamon and earth.

Please note that this is a identification walk only. We aren't allowed to pick plants in BC Parks. Bringing a notepad and camera is helpful if you want to remember specific edibles. Byo snacks/water

Where you'll be

Come with me into the forests and meadows of BC in search of tasty treats. Our meeting spot will vary depending on what time of year it is, always within Vancouver. I'll email the guests the week before to confirm. Our short walk will take us and through the wilds in search of edible treasure.
