What we’ll do

Airy balconies, lacy grills and fanciful gates adorn Charleston’s quaint alleyways and streets. Stroll through hundreds of years of treasured ironwork and hear the story of Philip Simmons, Charleston’s renowned ironworker, and of other earlier blacksmiths who crafted the picturesque ironworks that survived Charleston’s raging fires, hurricanes and wars.
