Where you'll be

Mt. Mudeung is the national parks and it's often called the heart of Gwangju as it surrounds the whole city. The mountain recently went through a re-naturification project to return the mountain to its original beauty. The close proximity to Gwangju proper makes it easy to get to and a popular place for locals to getting in shape! The mountain originates from volcanic activity, and many large boulders dotting the trail attest to this violent birth.
