What you'll do

We’d like to start by saying that we’re constantly looking for private places, surrounded by nature where we can share with you the importance of this ecosystem while still enjoying it. In this experience we will first take you to a beautiful lagoon named Xul-Ha. We will get comfortable in the lakefront house to swim, relax or learn how to stand up paddle board with our one board to share. Usually we are the only ones in this area! Later in the day we will take you to Bonanza lagoon to swim and swing in what we call the Mexican Maldives. Here, we will de ready with snacks and drinks. You can swim and explore the most narrow part of the lagoon near there, called los rapidos, a part you must see once in your lifetime! During this day trip, you decide if you’d rather sit back, relax and enjoy the views, or go exploring some of the best secrets of this crystal clear water. At the end of our trip, transportation will be ready to take us back to the meeting point in Bacalar.

Where you'll be

Xul-ha “where the water ends” in Mayan is found on the southern end of the Bacalar lagoon. The views from the lakefront house is an amazing visual experience. There's a narrow connection between both lagoons, that's known as “Los Rapidos”, the water speeds up due to the narrowing of the canal, which allows the concentration of a large quantity of stromatolites. Lagoon of bonanza, our second stop, is located near there.
