Where you'll be

The Village's educational institutions gave the area its identity as the home of free expression. From NYU, The New School and Cooper Union, to lesser known spots like the Ferrer School, an Anarchist educational collective on St. Marks Place, and the New York Studio School, the center of American Modern Art, we'll see the spots that made the Village a free-thinking enclave.
