After greetings, we will take place in the kitchen and I'll offer you a Quebec microbrewery beer, a juice or a liquor of your choice. 2. We'll jump right into the action and I'll show you how to prepare homemade fries. Under my supervision, everyone will have his workstation to cut his potatoes in his own way to make homemade fries. I will offer you guys some seasonings to mix in with your fries. While your cutting your fries, I will start telling you a little bit more about poutine history (poutine history is fascinating because it is still unclear who really invented it!). 3. While the french fries are cooking, I'll show you how to make an authentic poutine sauce. In my opinion, the sauce is the most important element of the poutine. It is often underestimated in the preparation of a poutine. I have worked a lot to bring together a plurality of ingredients to create the BEST poutine sauce. 4. Finally, we will sit in the dining room to eat the poutine that we cooked together. Looking forward to meeting you !

I have seen plenty and I made each one of them change their mind with my classic poutine recipe. My name's Sammy and I am a sous-chef in a small restaurant. When I was 7 years old, I fell in love with food, and it didn't stop growing ever since. There's something special about cooking, it reminds me of my childhood; my mother, the smells of a good spaghetti sauce, or a simple meal for a good family diner. I am passionate about poutine and cooking ! This passion for cooking brought me to work in several restaurants in Quebec City where I was able to experiment a great variety of poutines. For almost 4 years now, I have been working as a sous-chef in a small restaurant inspired by italian flavors. In those years, I have perfectionned my cookings skills and was inspired by the idea of giving a poutine class. I created a unique recipe for the poutine and it will be my pleasure to share it with you. My goal is simple, to transmit you guys my passion for cooking, but above all, for the Quebec poutine.

Where you'll be
The experience will take place in the kitchen at my home, in the heart of the Montcalm district, facing the Plains of Abraham. We will be mainly in the kitchen and the dining room, and possibly on the outside balcony if the weather allows it.
