Probably my favourite experience in Tokyo! Shinjuku can feel overwhelming at night, but this tour made the area feel personal, local, and much more meaningful.
I loved that it was not just the usual tourist route. We visited a quiet shrine, watched the beautiful projection mapping light show at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, and then ended the night with dinner at a small local restaurant that I would never have found on my own.
Peter was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable. I especially appreciated the local stories, cultural explanations, and personalized recommendations at the end. It felt more like spending the evening with a local friend than joining a standard tour.
The dinner was also a highlight. The restaurant had an intimate atmosphere, and meeting the owner made the experience feel special and authentic.
I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Tokyo who wants to see the real side of Shinjuku beyond the neon lights.
