What you'll do
We will leave in the morning in private transport to drive to this spectacular site and spend the day there. It is easy to walk and needs no special altitude adaptation. The place is a miraculous feminine archeological site that dates from pre-Colombian times. It was a significant place for connection and interrelation with the cycles of Willka Killa, the sacred Moon Goddess. A typical Andean vegetarian lunch will be provided. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to take part in a beautiful cleansing and healing water ritual accompanied by ancestral music. On the way back to Urubamba we will stop in a typical Peruvian village to taste the sacred and ancient drink of the Incas, called Chicha.
Hello, I am Iwa and come from an indigineous Quechua speaking community in Bolivia. Since more than two years I have been with my little multicultural family in Urubamba, in the Sacred Valley. I am an experienced mountain guide with various years of experience and knowing the area inside out because I live here and hike frequently, I am also a musician of ancestral music and artist. It is my passion to share my wisdom and ancestral knowledge with you. During my tours I offer an authentic experience through my music, small rituals and connecting to nature´s elements.

Where you'll be
The moon temple is a very magical place on the foot of a powerful Apu (mountain) and I will help you understand more about the mystery of it, connecting to its energies and the elements. The village that we visit is situated near Urubamba on the way back from our trip.
