What you'll do
This is a one-day program. You will become experts in security and cultural risks applicable in the United States, but especially useful when traveling abroad. You will explore international travel risk management, high-impact cultural and legal differences when travelling abroad, individual safety and security awareness, hotel room selection, gender and LGBTQIA risks and emergency responses, learn how to deal with bomb threats and active shooter attacks, as well as learn how to use everyday items to treat life-threatening injuries. You will also learn critical leadership and small team techniques when dealing with a crisis situation. The training includes immersive learning on our 90 acre Pandora training facility. You will see the effects of various weapon systems, be taught how to disable an attacker, learn about IEDs, explosives and booby traps, deal with a mass casualty situation, learn how to escape from restraints, become expert in anti-carjacking techniques, and learn how to survive a hostage situation.
