Hello! I am Raneem! A Syrian-Canadian full time Art and Design teacher during the school year in Halifax, and a creative workshop instructor during the summer. I studied Art and Art History from the University of Toronto and Sheridan College Oakville. I specialized in Design and Photography. After graduation, I traveled the world and loved Islamic design and patterns. I was fascinated by the intricate beautiful geometric patterns and spent many years researching and learning the secrets of drawing such complicated designs using simple rules. I've been offering art workshops to children, teenagers and adults of all ages for couple of years around the world. In schools, mosques, refugee camps, or just in a private workshop. All my workshops are very casual and include Arabic coffee, mint tea and deserts!
