What you'll do
We will start by making dough for Varenyky according to my family recipe. I will tell the history of the origin of the Varenyky and why they are so popular in Ukraine. Then I will show the guests how to make the dish and they will try to do it with their own hands. We will make two kinds of Varenyky: with potatoes and for the dessert with cherries. When we finish cooking Varenyky, we will lay the table and eat them. I will talk a little about the peculiarities of Ukrainian cuisine. Guests can take memorable photos.
Hi, I'm Alisa. I was born and raised in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. In my family, all women knew how to cook national Ukrainian dishes well and tasty. Recipes and secret ingredients are carefully passed down from generation to generation. But there is one dish that is arguably considered the best in our family. My mother began to teach me how to cook it when I was 7 years old. And now I am a master in this matter. This dish is called Varenyky! This is probably the most famous Ukrainian national dish. And following the tradition, I will show the guests how to cook it easily and tasty.
