What you'll do
We will try to imagine how Rome would appear just over a century ago. Very old pictures and a little bit of immagination will help us. We will go back through history and since Rome is incredibly rich in history, we cannot fail to mention culinary history! We will investigate the origin of some of the most famous and ancient Roman recipes. And we could only choose a historic Sixteenth Century palace for our journey through the ancient flavors. We will be welcomed in the fantastic location of Palazzo Valentini that was commissioned by the same Cardinal Michele Bonelli who wanted the construction of the disappeared Renaissance block. A historic building that lies right on a group of Roman Domus that have been open to the public and can be visited. And you will be amazed by the view you can enjoy from the restaurant's big windows. Just join us to find it out!
Hi! This is Melinda, a Roman based archeologist with a huge passion for cooking, tasting wine, exploring nature and… cats! I grew up in a traditional family and I learned how to cook and understand the quality of foods thanks to my parent’s teachings. I am also a handmade pasta maker (and lover). Once a month I invite all of my friends home and I make handmade ravioli for them. I really think that everything in my life is about PASSION: passion for history, passion for food, passion for good wines. And I really would like to share my passions with you and spend together an amazing time!

We'll reach the Campidoglio Hill and from there, walking alongside the “Altare della Patria”, we'll arrive in Piazza Venezia. We'll have a special full meal under the overwhealming Trajan Column. We'll finish our journey in an hystorical bar where we'll have an italian espresso.
