What you'll do
This experience will be held in the riad in the holy month of Ramadan. We are in the heart of the old medina of Marrakech. Upon their arrival our guests will meet me, Aicha and the staff. I will sit with them and drinking a tasty and aromatic Moroccan mint tea, i will start to explain them the lifestyle over the holy month of Ramadan, the rhythm, the traditions with the eyes of a European with 10 years of experience in Morocco. After we will start to prepare together with Aicha the main dish of the ramadan: Harira. Cooking and chatting our guests will be able to discover small secrets of the kitchen and curiosities about Moroccan traditions and about the spiritual month of Ramadan. When Harira is on the fire our guests can wait on the terrace the spectacular announcement in chorus by muezzin of all the minarets for the breaking of the fast. After they will share a traditional moroccan ftour (the first meal of the day) togheter with the staff: harira, dates, chebakia, eggs, fresh juice, mint tea, messmen with cheese or bathbouth stuffed with meat will be the menù. The ftour is a very important moment where every moroccan share his food after the long day of fasting.
I believe in love at the first sight. It happened in my life many times: 10 years ago with Morocco, 8 years ago with my riad and also with our chef Aicha. Coming from a berber family, she guided me into the deep of the traditional moroccan kitchen and the moroccan life style. She explained me everything, all her secrets and with enthusiasm she passed on my the love for Moroccan cuisine. Being with her every day, she is helping me to discover and understand the secrets of traditions.

Where you'll be
We are a riad, the old moroccan familiar home in the medina. Walking inside a riad is like a flashback in the moroccan tradition and having a ftour inside the riad is the best way to breath the feeling of Ramadan.
