What you'll do
This is an introductory course on natural skin care products. We will discuss the types of ingredients that you will be using and consider your requirements. We will look at packaging and how to find the packaging that you will be able to re-use so that you can move away from throwing away altogether. We will make a soap bar that is moisturising, a daily moisturiser and an all natural deodorant. We will consider some of the most effective carrier oils and essential oils. You will be able to get hands on experience of what these products are like and compare the difference to commercially produced cosmetics. You will be able to see and test the superior quality of some of my organic and nutritious products such as face polish or salt scrubs. We will break for some light refreshments. Finally, I will show you how to make a deodorant that is all natural and that actually works and what you have to have in it for it to work. When we have finished you will be able to take away with you the soap and moisturiser you have made and a sample of the deodorant. Join me and learn to create healthy products without all the nasties. It will also give you a better understanding of what to look for in the products you buy.
I'm the founder of Inspospaces, which is a stylish central London location that I designed as a unique space for small businesses to host friendly workshops, hire for film shoots and product launches. Here, I teach people how to make skin care products from natural ingredients that are specific to their own skin type. I got involved with learning how to make products after trying to reduce my plastic consumption and avoid nasty the chemicals of commercial brands. During this journey, I discovered just how nourishing good ingredients are and ditched the nasty chemicals of commercial products. Over the years I went on a number of courses and have learned how effective natural and organic ingredients can be for the skin and hair. I now enjoy holding friendly classes to show others how easy this process can be, it's an addictive hobby.
A range of organic ingredients will be provided to enable guests to make their own products. Recycled and recyclable…
