What you'll do
In this workshop we'll learn about the science behind making vegan ice cream and then put that knowledge to practice by making some vegan ice cream. The process involves the following steps: 1. Blending ingredients 2. Cooling 3. Churning the ice cream in an ice cream maker 4. Freezing the ice cream until the proper consistency is reached. Once the ice cream is ready, we'll learn how to scoop ice cream with an ice cream scooper and enjoy our freshly prepared creation!
I am Nelson and I looove ice cream. I used to eat it all the time on hot summer days as a child. Unfortunately, I developed a dairy allergy. The existing vegan ice creams just weren't as good as what I remembered so I started making vegan ice creams and sorbets myself 4 years ago. I studied many different recipe books from several sources and different bases and have combined the best in my own vegan ice cream recipes.
Ice cream will be eaten!
Ice cream raw ingredients will be provided.
Where you'll be
We will conduct this workshop in my home where I usually prepare my vegan ice creams all summer long. Hopefully it will be a beautiful sunny day so we can enjoy the ice cream on my balcony!
