I'm the resident artist and owner of Camp Cactus Studio, a creative place to make art, take classes and shop for handmade goods. A career artist, teacher and maker, I studied graphic design and photography in college and have worked as a designer, illustrator, and art teacher for over twenty years. I love to share the infectious magic of making things by hand, and light the creative spark in everyone I meet! A longtime member of the Portland art scene, I've hosted yearly sales at Camp Cactus featuring cool stuff handmade by local artists since 1992. Here's my website:

More tips

Art can be messy! Aprons provided, but it's best to wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting wet. I'm very close to major bus + light rail lines, and there's plenty of on-street parking.
