What you'll do
You will make an exclusive visit to two incredible spaces of Rio´s sustainable fashion. First, let's visit a super funky hostel, which holds a shared wardrobe, shared for guests' use during their stay. We will try and borrow from this collection, some pieces of clothing and accessories from new brands that produce in a more sustainable way, such as luxury accessories made from junk and natural dye shirts. I will make you a Then, we will visit with exclusivity the atelier of a Rio de Janeiro designer who transforms textile garbage into new fashion pieces. We will end with a visit to a cooperative of local artisans.
I always like to tell stories about the clothes I wore, and in 2014 I created the first collective shared wardrobe in Brazil. My purpose was to make those old forgotten pieces of clothing in our closets to be used by other people. The Lucid Bag also aims to present new local initiatives as a sustainable alternative for fashion consumption.

Where you'll be
Let's meet in Botafogo in a hostel that was the headquarters of the Citizenship Action against Hunger, Misery and Life, a reference NGO in Brazil, founded by the sociologist Herbert de Souza, Betinho, in 1993. Then we go to the artist ateliê, followed by a visit to Largo do Machado where we will visit a cooperative of local designers.
