Where you'll be

Kampong Bharu is the Malay heartland peppered with traditional Malay houses on stilts, some with intricate wood carvings. Some houses around 100 years old are still home to the descendants. Evenings see the village streets turned into a busy food, fruits & vegetables market. See Colonial buildings around Independence Square at night.
